RX-78-2 GUNDAM DE BANDAI : REVIEW GUNPLA
Posted by techartgeek.com on Feb 22, 2018
Today we are tackling the major icon of GUNDAM culture. Indeed the RX-78-2 is none other than the most iconic model of this series. A little history is needed:
RX-78-2 or the reference of the Mobile Suit Gundam
This model also called White Gundam or "The Gundam" appears from the very first series GUNDAM, indeed it is found in the following licenses: Gundam Mobile Suite, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Gundam Build Fighters, Gundam Build Fighters Try and in Mobile Suite Gundam Unicorn. This is one of the first models created by the E.F.S.F. (Earth Federation Space Forces) to fight the principality of ZEON (and thus to fight with the ZAKU cf my previous article).
This is a re-release of the gunpla made for the first time in 2001 by Bandai, this series "REVIVE" takes the design but offers a new mold less coarse.
The point gear: unpacking in rule
The assembly
Again (and that's what's really nice) we come across a different model in terms of assembly, the techniques of joints of the arms and legs are different and offers much more mobility than the model previously assembled ZAKU. The colors of this model are very nice, only small problem for me is the white that "pulls a little towards an eggshell" and is not white enough for my taste but it is extremely personal. To return to the assembly in itself no problem the parts are quite correct except the "pegs" that do not have an impeccable assembly (it is almost imperceptible but good ...) but it will settle with a good blow of putty and glue!
In the end what does it make?
Really not much to say about this model that will satisfy the greatest number of you. Few stickers (4 in the end it's not a bad ...) and a great finish. It only adds a few finishes and we are at the top of the top! If you want to start the Gunpla this is the model for you!
