What’s the Difference between HG, RG, and other Types?
Like other Japanese hobby-building kits, Gundam model kits come in various “scales” that reflect what your miniature is in proportion to what it would be in “real life.” This is also broken down by ability level; the most popular are HG (High Grade) or MG (Master Grade) kits, which are simpler to build; RG (Real Grade) kits that offer some of the most popular models while also offering more complexity, and PG (Perfect Grade) being the most detailed of all, best suited for more experienced enthusiasts.
What tools do I need to build a Gundam model kit?
High-quality clippers are a must, and it’s highly recommended to have a few for different cuts: the first to detach the Gundam figure kit from the sprues and other clippers to refine — and for those steps, nothing is better than God Hand.
