This model recreates the final appearance of Yamato, the last battleship of the Japanese Navy, when it set out for Okinawa on April 6, 1945.
In search of the true appearance of Yamato, which is shrouded in much mystery, this product was designed by thoroughly examining all official drawings and documents that were available for reference during the planning and development of this product.
Based on the frame position of the hull, all structures, including the portholes, are positioned as accurately as possible, and even the subtle nuances of the bending angles and twists of the walls are thoroughly pursued.
