Description

Hamamatsu Castle was where Tokugawa Ieyasu, famous as the ruler of Japan, was surrounded by powerful warlords in his youth, and fought and survived, becoming a stepping stone to unifying the country. Tokugawa Ieyasu spent 17 years in Hamamatsu from 1569 (Eiroku 12) to 1586 (Tensho 14). During that time, it is said that he incorporated Hikima Castle, the predecessor of Hamamatsu Castle, into the castle, renamed it "Hamamatsu Castle," and moved the main citadel to the current Hamamatsu Castle. Many of the lords of Hamamatsu Castle held important positions in the shogunate while in the castle, so Hamamatsu Castle came to be known as the "castle of success." Enjoy the scenery of Hamamatsu Castle, towering majestically in the twilight like the ruler Ieyasu. Hamamatsu Castle, standing majestically in the twilight like the ruler Ieyasu, is now available in 300 pieces.

Finished size is approx. 26x38cm
