- The hull parts are molded in a light green color, considering the paint tone of outer shell color 22.
- Unique features of each ship within the Unryu class are separately modeled and accurately recreated.
- The ship's bridge rear is extended, incorporating a dedicated part for the tripod mast's base.
- Additional square-shaped machine gun mounts are situated on the port midsection and aft sides.
- The flight deck is richly detailed with features such as aircraft securing rings, arresting wires, and expansion joints, despite the simple latex finish.
- The carrier-borne aircraft includes four types used by the 601st Naval Air Group: Zero fighter model 52, Zero fighter 21 variant with bombs, Suisei, and Tenzan.
- The set consists of two large sheets of photo-etched parts to enhance areas not achievable with molded parts.
- Some parts can be trimmed and partially replaced to achieve accurate detail.
- The photo-etched parts offer delicate additions that injection parts can't fully express.
- Included items are railings, ladders, No.13 and No.21 radars, arresting wires, elevators, and airplane propellers.
- As the parts are metal, painting is necessary. Use instant adhesive or rubber-based adhesive depending on the bonding area.
