The Senseki Line is the only JR direct current electrified section in the Tohoku region, connecting Aoba-dori to Sendai, passing through Matsushima Kaigan, and linking to Ishinomaki. Since 2002, the 205 series 3100 series, remodeled into four-car sets from the Tokyo Metropolitan area, has been prominent, featuring both one pantograph units with unmodified pantograph sections and two pantograph units with modified sections.
As a new variation of the 205 series 3100 series, the one pantograph unit with non-modified pantograph sections is being launched. It’s a product that you can enjoy running alongside other active trains in the area, such as the 701 series. Highly recommended for those who own existing Senseki line products as part of their collection.
