The HANKYU Railway 2300 Series is a new express train introduced on the Hankyu Kyoto Line in 2024, embodying the concept of "new Hankyu style" that emphasizes safety, comfort, and environmental consciousness. While maintaining the traditional image of Hankyu trains, its design features curved front windows to evoke a sense of speed. It also marks the first introduction of reserved seating services by Hankyu, reflecting the philosophy of creating a special carriage that focuses on personal time, a distinctive trait of Hankyu. Additionally, due to the pace of production and introduction of the 2300 series, some sets include carriages from the previous 9300 series express trains.
