In July 2024, the Aomori 701 Series with a new blue wrap made its debut. Changes include the removal of the light blue wrapping around the front connecting door and headlights, and the relocation of the light blue wrapping from below the side windows to the panel section. It operates with a minimum of 2 cars and a maximum of 4, and you can also see trains combining two different wrapped sets.
The Aomori Railway's 701 Series with new wrapping is now available in N gauge. With the simultaneous reproduction of <10-1561S Aomori Railway 701 Series>, you can recreate transitional temporary trains featuring two sets with different wraps. Experience the current landscape of the Aomori Railway.
Aomori Railway: A third-sector railway connecting Metoki Station to Aomori Station over a distance of 121.9 km, formerly part of the Tohoku Main Line.
