Kato 12-007 Series E8 Shinkansen 'Tsubasa' Display Model (An Unforgettable Journey in N-scale) (N scale)

The E8 series began commercial operation in March 2024 as a new train for the Yamagata Shinkansen. Based on the E6 series, the concept is "a train that weaves rich culture and hearts", and in order to meet diverse travel needs, it is a train that has been enhanced by installing large luggage storage in all cars and increasing wheelchair space. The exterior design follows the previous Yamagata Shinkansen, using three colors: purple (Oshidori Purple), yellow (Safflower Yellow), and white (Zao Bianco), and is characterized by an "arrow line shape" with headlights on both shoulders. Between Tokyo and Fukushima, it is coupled with the E5 series "Yamabiko" and operates at a maximum speed of 300 km/h.
