The HANKYU Railway 2300 Series is a new model limited express train introduced on the Hankyu Kyoto Line in 2024. Designed with the concept of "Safety, Comfort, and Environmentally Conscious New Hankyu Style," it retains the traditional image of Hankyu trains while featuring a front window with curves to create a sense of speed. This series introduces Hankyu Railway's first seat reservation service, designed with the philosophy of a "Unique Hankyu Special Car that Values Personal Time." Depending on the pace of introducing and increasing the 2300 series, formations that incorporate cars from the existing 9300 series limited express trains have also been introduced.

- The front destination display reads "Kyoto Kawaramachi/Express" pre-installed. Includes exchangeable front displays for "Osaka Umeda/Semi-Express" and "Plain." Side displays are printed in black. Includes destination indication stickers.

- The head/tail lights and marker lights on both sides illuminate with white LEDs. Recreates the 4-light full high-beam lighting status.
- Accurately reproduces the step for boarding and alighting on leading cars
- Features specific window arrangements with small windows flanking the central door on car 4, and uniquely shaped door windows
- Reproduces the unique seat configuration with 1+2 rows and destination displays placed inside the side windows near the doors
- Beautifully crafted printed gold band under the windows, door window surrounds, gold car numbers, company emblem, and logo
- Vividly recreates the Hankyu-specific glossy maroon paint and silver accents like window frames, passenger doors, handrails, and door sills
- Uses a body-mount tight coupling (with hooks) for intermediate connections. The front section uses a dummy coupler
- Equipped with a coreless motor for smooth and quiet running
- The headmark displayed at the front is included in the destination indication stickers
