The popular and classic Alpine Glacier Express debuts in a new specification with the luxurious new passenger car "Excellence Class" included. This real train traverses the European Alps in southwestern Switzerland, slowly traveling over 8 hours from Zermatt to St. Moritz across two railway companies, the Rhaetian Railway and the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway. It is popular as a panoramic sightseeing train for enjoying the majestic views of the Alps from the train window. In 2019, the "Excellence Class," which is an upgrade from first-class, was introduced, bringing changes to the conventional passenger cars.

Incorporation of the luxurious new passenger car "Excellence Class" introduced in 2019. The interiors and seat colors of the traditional first and second-class passenger cars have been updated, allowing you to enjoy the current Glacier Express lineup. The Ge4/4-III has also been recreated with an updated exterior design.
