Kato 10-2002 Series E231-1000 (Oyama Rolling Stock Center) 5 Cars Add-on Set (N scale)

- The E231 Series 1000, introduced in 2000, replaced the 115 and 211 series, which were active on the Utsunomiya Line (Tohoku Line) and Takasaki Line. The formations deployed to the OYAMA Vehicle Center in the early 2000s have distinct features from the later vehicles for the Tokaido Line appearing from 2004. These include continuous green belts along the side panel, long board extending to the conductor door on the front car, a non-glass cockpit console, and differing toilet placements in the formation.

- The product is available in the current updated specification for both 10-car and 5-car formations. Enjoy a maximum 15-car operation by combining with the popular E231 Series 1000 Tokaido Line (updated) or the E233 Series 3000 Tokaido Line and Ueno-Tokyo Line sets.

- Features the updated specifications of U522 (10 cars) and U60 (5 cars) formations from OYAMA Vehicle Center.

- Recreates features typical of early models, such as continuous green bands on the side panels and small coolers installed across the roof.

- Replicates long boards extending above the driver’s door on front cars and the non-glass cockpit console.
