Description

MANI 60 is a 14-ton baggage car that appeared between 1953 and 1955, belonging to the steel-body passenger cars. A total of 565 units, including 205 new units and 360 units converted from other types after 1959, were in service. They were integrated into ordinary and express train formations and used for small parcel transport along with mail and baggage cars of other types.

- The model reproduces the 350 series, which were newly added for the Honshu region, capturing the state around 1975 after the installation of a valuables room.
- Features a large baggage compartment door typical of baggage cars, with four side windows between the doors and a fish-belly frame to replicate the exterior.
- Recreates the protective bars visible from the side windows, baggage doors, end doors, and crew doors, using light-green separate parts.
- Replicates the TR11 type bogies of the MANI 60.
- Each product is equipped with spoked wheels, with detailed hollow spaces between the spokes replicated.
- The toilet window is reproduced in white.
- The tail light illuminates on the side with the windowed end (with an on/off switch).
- Printed load, conversion, and "baggage" markings. The format, car number, ownership markings, end markings on the end face, and inspection markings can be applied from the included lettering sheet according to your preference.
- Compatible with interior lighting kit Kato 7-505
