The 19G container, owned by JR Freight, is a dual-opening container with a 5-ton capacity and 12ft length, featuring side and end doors. It is an improved version of the traditional 19F container, equipped with simple corner fittings, enabling it to be transported by ships in emergencies, such as during disasters. Over 20,000 of these containers were manufactured between 2001 and 2018, making them a significant force in the industry. Variations in design and paintwork exist based on the time period and manufacturing location. It is second in popularity to the 19D container and is actively used in various locations.
