Immediately after the inauguration of JR, a vehicle with a changed paint color was born as part of improving the image.
In EF65, Unit 9 was changed to brown paint in the 1989 full inspection and was active until 1994.
After the retirement of Unit 9, Unit 56 took over the paint color and participated in brown.
Unlike Unit 9, it appeared with the letters "JR Freight" on the side hem of the car body and attracted the attention of fans.
- Commercialized the brown EF65 0 series, which became a hot topic in the early Heisei period.
- For the product, Unit 56 was selected as a prototype.
- Although the detailed form is different, the number for 9,57,75 is attached as a variation.
- Reproduces the tail light with a sign disk pedestal and a short hand pickpocket for guides, which is a feature of the secondary type.
- Comes with numbers for Units 9, 57, 75.
- The train radio antenna is already installed.
* Some forms such as train radio antenna position and skirt shape are different from the actual vehicle.
