The 1/700 Waterline Series has been revamped with the launch of the special submarine tender "Chiyoda". We have redesigned and engineered the main guns, machine guns, and other outfitting parts, including onboard boats, to ensure exceptional precision in 1/700 scale models.

Constructed as a seaplane tender alongside its sister ship "Chitose," the "Chiyoda" went through multiple modifications into a special submarine tender and aircraft carrier. The model kit portrays its transformation into a special submarine tender capable of deploying and operating 12 small submarines known as "Ko-hyoteki". This 1/700 scale plastic model kit offers an accurate and straightforward assembly experience.
