Introducing the two-dimensional monster "Gavadon (A)," featured in Episode 15 "The Terrifying Cosmic Rays" of "Ultraman," now available in a 1/6th scale special effects series with an all-new design!  

This large-scale, approximately 42 cm long, soft vinyl figure is a faithful reproduction of Gavadon, a monster with a peaceful nature who loves to nap. Despite being bombarded by missiles from the Science Special Search Party or having its tail severed, Gavadon continued to nap without concern and disappeared by nightfall.  

At night, children added drawings to the creature, transforming it into a completely different form, later known as Gavadon (B).  

Even when faced with a battle against Ultraman, the children pleaded with Ultraman not to kill Gavadon. Ultraman then carried Gavadon back to space.  

Gavadon became a star in the universe, visible during the Tanabata festival, delighting children.  

As one of the most beloved characters among Tsuburaya monsters, Gavadon (A), with added realism as a monster, makes its appearance in the "1/6th Special Effects Series."  

- Modeling:  

Gavadon (A) is known for its round and soft appearance, and while maintaining that form, this figure adds detailed monster-like features in its design.  

Despite its simple shape, transformed from children's drawings, the enormous body likely features fine wrinkles or scars on the surface. This interpretation adds a realistic monster texture to the sculpting.  

Additional features from the on-screen suit have been included, such as detailed wrinkles on the back and a peephole mold within the eyes. Adorable front legs and the base mold are meticulously crafted.  

Limited references have been used to fully reproduce even the soles of the feet, and seams similar to sewing marks can be observed beneath the body.  

Gavadon (A) is finished with a texture that emphasizes its monster characteristics, carefully crafted down to the finest details.  

- Coloring:  

The coloring reflects CCPJAPAN's meticulous attention, inspired by famous steel photographs and the impressions of Gavadon in old footage.  

The body features a soft yellowish hue with subtle gradient shading, giving Gavadon (A) its distinctive coloration.  

Its unique feature of having different coloring impressions on the left and right sides is also faithfully replicated.  

The weathered paint mimic the sandy appearance from the show, expressed in earthy color tones, enhancing the realism of the ground-crawling scene.
