Description

Customizable brush pens for panel lining with your own paint mixtures!

Contents:
3x Panel Line Pen (approx. L16 x Dia.1.5cm)
1x Measuring Cup

Material:
PP
Iron (metal ball)

How to Use:
First create ink by diluting a preferred paint with solvent (approx. 5:1 solvent to paint) using the guides on the included measuring cup. Pour the diluted ink into the back end of the pen, turn the knob on the side so the line is vertical, and when the tip of the pen is completely dyed with the color of the ink, the pen is ready for use. Once setting the color, you can ink about 2 to 3 plastic model kits worth.

*The ease of ink flow varies depending on the color used and temperature. Add solvent as necessary to adjust the viscosity to a more flowable level.
*Paint may leak from the filler cap at the rear end of the pen. Please close firmly.

Continually touch the pen tip to the plastic model grooves where you want the ink to flow. It is the same method as when inking with a paint brush. The ink naturally flows into the grooves of the panel lines using capillary action, creating an ideal finish. The pen tip is ultra-fine, making it easy to pour into narrow or thin spots. The flow rate varies depending on the type of ink and dilution level, so adjust the pen's side knob to different angles to adjust.
The pen is made with materials resistant to water-based, lacquer-based, and enamel solvents, so you can make enamel paint inking pens that are easy to clean and reuse.

Since the paint solution may separate if stored for longer periods of time, a metal mixing ball is included in the main unit. Like with paint pens, shake the pen body up and down to thoroughly mix the paint again.
If you miss a spot or wish to make a second pass, just shake the pen to stir, open the knob and it's ready for use again. When the ink runs out, you can fill it up with the same color and get right back to inking.

Turning the knob to a horizontal stop will prevent the ink from flowing for safe storage. The pen tip is fairly durable, so even if paint hardens on it, it will not crack or fuzz. It can be easily fixed by dissolving the paint with a solvent for cleaning parts. If stored for a long period of time, the pen tip will harden regardless, so it must be dissolved with a solvent before use.

If more than two weeks have passed since the last use, please soak the pen tip in solvent to soften the pen tip before reuse.

*This is not a marker pen. Please treat and care for it as you would a typical painting brush.
