Description

In Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 5, Polnareff plays an essential role. As one of the main allies of the series, the Frenchman fights alongside Joseph and Jotaro on a quest to avenge the murder of his sister. He shows up in other parts of the franchise, as well, but Part 5 is where he shines. Any fan of the show can sympathize with Jean Pierre Polnareff, who is a fully fleshed character that can appeal to a variety of people. Let’s learn a little more about Jean Pierre so that you can prepare to snag your own Jean Pierre Polnareff figure from Medicos.

Getting to Know Jean Pierre

As you can tell from his name, Jean Pierre Polnareff is French. Like many other characters in JJBA Part 5, Polnareff has a Stand, known as Silver Chariot. With his Stand, he fights with Joseph and Jotaro. Personality-wise, Jean Pierre tends to boast, but you won’t find a more honorable man, and he always means well. Even when he comes under the control of the dreaded DIO, he doesn’t compromise his morals or give up his honor, which is more than you can say for many characters in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure universe.

The Many Parts of Polnareff

Jean Pierre Polnareff differs from other characters in the JJBA-verse in other ways, as well. Most notably, he uses a wheelchair due to the loss of his legs, his right eye, and his right arm. The Jean Pierre Polnareff figure from Medicos is true to form in that way. The action figure resembles Polnareff in every way, from his flattop haircut to his earrings to his prosthetic calves.

    A good figure!

This Polnareff is a great addition to my growing collection. The sculpt is very good and the wheelchair even has movable parts. The only issues I have with it are the paint job on the hands and the difficulty that comes with swapping said hands. The instruction manual also makes it seem like there should be another accessory, but I think it's just advertising one that fits with him. He is also very skinny and thus he feels very frail, so I would recommend buyers be careful with him, mine did not break at all but I wouldn't have been surprised if it did. Overall it's a good figure I'd recommend to JoJo fans, just beware of the things I mentioned.
