The 0 Series Shinkansen was Japan's first commercial Shinkansen train, which debuted to coincide with the opening of the Tokaido Shinkansen on October 1, 1964 (Showa 39).
This vehicle was the first in the world to exceed a top speed of 200km/h in commercial operation, and it greatly inspired the development of high-speed railways in other countries such as France and Germany.
- Reproduces a different formation from the popular T020-1.
- The leading car has a specification from a few years after the line's opening, with a coupler cover made from FRP, which the company has specially developed.
- Minimum running radius is R195.
- Headlights and taillights light up.
- The interior lights are compatible with the A009 (sold separately) for the leading car and the A031 (sold separately) for the middle cars. The A059 (sold separately) is compatible with DCC conversion.
