About the Actual Car:
Touring car races, which pit vehicles closest to commercial models against each other, have always been popular worldwide among motorsport fans. BMW, from Germany, has been a dominant player in this field. The renowned M3, based on the 3 Series and initially introduced in 1985, has been a major contributor to this reputation. Entering the world of the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) in 2006 was the homologation model 320si, based on the E90.
