About the Actual Car:

The Volkswagen Polo R WRC, introduced by Germany's Volkswagen in the 2013 WRC, is a rally car designed under the S2000 regulations. The body is equipped with over-fenders, expanding to the full regulation width of 1820mm. It is powered by a front-mounted, turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four engine. Competing since the 2013 WRC's opening round, the Monte Carlo Rally, the car dominated with 12 wins from 13 races to win the 2014 championship. By 2015, design changes to the rear wing, gearbox improvements, and weight reduction further enhanced its performance. The car recorded 12 wins out of 13 races, including the Monte Carlo Rally, achieving back-to-back championships.

The body is accurately recreated with integrated front and rear over-fenders. Large decals allow you to select from drivers Ogier, Latvala, and Mikkelsen for your final model. The kit faithfully reproduces differences from the 2013 model, including the 2015 rear wing and paddle shift steering. Night-stage lights are also modeled. The chassis underside includes a mechanical depiction of the suspension and 4WD drive shaft.
