About the Real Car

The Peugeot 207 S2000 is a rally car developed by Peugeot in 2007, with a long history of success in motorsports, including rallying. It was designed according to the FIA Super 2000 regulations and based on the Peugeot 207 compact hatchback. The car is equipped with a 1998cc inline four-cylinder engine, naturally aspirated to deliver 280 horsepower, and features four-wheel drive. With expertise honed in WRC participation, the car demonstrated exceptional competitiveness, clinching the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) championship for three consecutive years from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, driven by British driver Kris Meeke, the Peugeot 207 S2000 triumphed at the Ypres Rally held in June in Belgium, further showcasing its prowess.

About the Model

Passionate about rally car models, Belgian model manufacturer Belkits has released this 1/24 scale assembly kit of the Peugeot 207 S2000. Comprising 95 parts, the finished model measures 168mm in length and 75mm in width, accurately modeling the victorious 2009 Ypres Rally car. The body features integrated front and rear over-fenders, decorated with large decals of the UK flag. The chassis underside is intricately recreated with mechanical parts like the suspension and 4WD drive shaft.

Moreover, the cockpit is modeled with rally equipment such as fire extinguishers, footrests, helmet holders, and spare tires. Special attention is given to the accurate reproduction of the roll bars. The kit also includes etched parts for seat belt materials and seat belt buckles, offering a comprehensive build experience.
