This 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit recreates the Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC, the winner of the opening round of the 2020 WRC, the Monte Carlo Rally.

About the Actual Vehicle:

The Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC, developed by South Korean automaker Hyundai, is a machine designed for the WRC. It's developed based on the second generation i20’s 3-door coupe, a Hyundai subcompact car. Debuted in the WRC in 2017, the machine is developed by Hyundai Motorsport GmbH, which also manages Hyundai's global motorsport activities, including WRC and customer racing, based in Germany. It is equipped with a 1.6-liter inline 4-cylinder direct injection turbo engine producing 380 horsepower, and this powertrain is combined with an all-wheel-drive system and MacPherson strut suspension at both front and rear. Since its debut in WRC in 2017, the car has continued to evolve, recording three wins in 2020, including the Monte Carlo Rally, and winning the WRC Constructors' Champion for two consecutive years following 2019.

This 1/24 scale Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC plastic model assembly kit is released by Belkit, a Belgian model manufacturer actively developing rally car models. The completed model has an overall length of approximately 170mm, capturing the powerful style of the WRC works machine in a highly detailed and realistic new mold. Although it's an engine-less kit, the mechanical details such as the chassis underside, suspension, and especially the cockpit surrounded by a roll cage, provide an in-depth understanding of this champion machine as you assemble. The body includes separately molded over-fenders with sharp details and substantial dimensionality, fully capturing its expression. Additionally, soft plastic materials are also used to recreate the texture of parts. Furthermore, the kit includes a set of photo-etched parts for detailing such as brake discs, offering a comprehensive build. This kit reproduces the markings of the machine driven by Thierry Neuville to victory at the opening round of the 2020 WRC Monte Carlo Rally.
