About the Actual Car
The Nissan Skyline GT-R, debuted in 1989, marked the return of the "GT-R" after 16 years since the 1973 model 2000GT-R (KPGC110 type). This model was embraced by many car enthusiasts and represented a mission to dominate races, much anticipated by motorsports fans. The front-mounted engine featured a twin-turbo equipped 2.6-liter DOHC inline-six, along with an electronically controlled torque-split 4WD system, ATESSA E-TS. It primarily powered the rear wheels, automatically distributing torque to the front wheels only if rear grip was compromised, ensuring consistently high traction. It excelled both as a commercial model and on the circuit, showcasing significant strength in Group A races of that era. The V-SpecII, a commemorative model for the four-time championship victory in the All-Japan Touring Car Championship, carved its name into the legendary GT-R lineage.
About the Model
This model replicates the R-32 type Skyline GT-R V-SpecII in a 1/32 scale plastic model assembly kit. Designed with fewer parts for ease of assembly, it features pre-painted and tampo-printed bodywork, eliminating the need for adhesive during assembly, making the process hassle-free. Available in three body colors, choose the kit in your preferred color. The completed model measures approximately 135mm in length, captures the fullness of the blister fenders, and showcases the design in great detail. The underside of the chassis is intricately detailed to enhance its three-dimensional and mechanical appeal. Realistically detailed tread patterns are presented on the rubber tires, while the carefully replicated wheels add a finishing touch to the model's stance.
