About the Actual Car:
In 1989, the Nissan Skyline GT-R made its debut, marking the revival of the "GT-R" after a 16-year hiatus since the 1973 2000GT-R (KPGC110 model). This new GT-R won the support of many automobile enthusiasts. It was designed to dominate races, powered by a front-mounted 2.6-liter DOHC inline 6-cylinder engine with twin turbos. The electronic controlled torque split 4WD system, ATTESA E-TS, operated generally in rear-wheel-drive mode and automatically shifted torque to the front wheels when rear grip was lost, ensuring stable high traction. It showcased exceptional performance in both commercial sales and the Group A races of the time. The V. Spec II, commemorating four consecutive victories in the All-Japan Touring Car Championship, became a legendary model, forging new paths in the GT-R legacy.
