Series 100 is a vehicle for the Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen, and was introduced in 1985 as a replacement for the 0 series.
The first prototype car that appeared had one small window in one row of seats, but the mass-produced car had one large window in two rows of seats, giving it an even smarter appearance.
- 4-cars extension set of 125-0 type (T) and 126-0 type that corresponds to expansion of each set.
- New reproduction of the intermediate car 125-0/126-0 type car body, roof, and side glass
- The actual 16-car train can be reproduced by combining the basic set and additional set (X formation) or addition (G formation) and this additional set.
- Each pantograph cover can be reproduced with separate parts included.
