The 313 Series is a suburban train that began commercial operations in 1999. These trains are specifically designed to run across various electrified lines operated by JR Tokai, adjusting to the specific conditions of each line, such as train length and seating configuration, for flexible operations.
The 1300 series, which started operations in 2010, features convertible cross seats between doors and long seats at the carriage ends. It is characterized by a two-car formation suitable for one-person train operations. Currently, these trains mainly operate on the Kansai Line, Taketoyo Line, and Gotemba Line, and also serve certain sections of the Tokaido Line and the Chuo Line.
