The Enshu Railway was established in 1943 and operates rail and bus services primarily in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
The current railway line connects the 17.8 km line from Shin-Hamamatsu Station to Nishi-Kashima Station, which connects with the Tenryu Hamanako Railway.
As of 2024, all vehicles operated on this line are original forms ordered by the company.
The 2000 series, in operation since 1999, will have its latest 2009 formation added in September 2024, resulting in a total of nine formations.
The 30 series, manufactured from 1958, featured a bright red body paint. Notably, the MOHA25-KUHA85 formation, which uses a suspended drive system, has been equipped with air conditioning since its new manufacture in 1978.
Train can be motorized to an N scale train and is compatible with TM-12R Motorized Chassis, TT-04R Trailer Conversion Kit and Tomix 0245 Pantograph.
