The 2430 series, a veteran active in the Kintetsu Osaka Line and Nagoya Line, is introduced with a choice of two items.
Kintetsu Railway is known as Japan's largest private railway, expanding a vast route network from Kansai to the Chukyo area.The 2430 series was introduced in 1971 as a commuter-type train, adopting the same body structure as the 2410 series and debuted as a three-car formation. In later years, due to reorganizing the formations, two-car, three-car, and four-car formations appeared. After undergoing body renovation work and repainting, they remain in active service today.Some formations of the Kintetsu Nagoya Line system have been modified for one-man operation.
This series is mainly operated as a single formation on the Kintetsu Osaka Line and Kintetsu Nagoya Line, and can also be linked with other formations to run as various express trains, including rapid express.
Train can be motorized to an N scale train and is compatible with TM-14 Motorized Chassis, TT-04R Trailer Conversion Kit and Tomix 0238 Pantograph.
