The 2430 series is a veteran train that shines on the Kintetsu Osaka and Nagoya Lines.
Kintetsu Railway is known as Japan's largest private railway, with an extensive network stretching from Kansai to the Chukyo region. The 2430 series debuted in 1971 as a commuter train, utilizing the same body structure as the 2410 series and was introduced as a 3-car formation.
In later years, rearrangements led to 2-car, 3-car, and 4-car formations, and despite body renovations and repainting, it continues to operate today.
Additionally, some formations of the Kintetsu Nagoya Line system have been fitted for one-man operation.
Primarily, it operates independently on the Kintetsu Osaka and Nagoya Lines, but it is also used in connection with other formations as various types of express, including rapid express trains.
Train can be motorized to an N scale train and is compatible with TM-14 Motorized Chassis, TT-04R Trailer Conversion Kit and Tomix 0238 Pantograph.
