Description
The Air Self-Defense Force, established on July 1, 1954, celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, with specially painted aircraft adding a commemorative flair in various squadrons.
Among these, the aircraft number 551 of the 3rd Squadron was given special paint featuring the squadron's emblem, the "Samurai Helmet Warrior" as its central design. This aircraft also made headlines for its announced participation in the Indian Air Force exercise "Talan Shakti 24."
This product models the aircraft number 551, faithfully reproducing its stunning design with decals. The kit features parts division aligned with the actual aircraft's panel lines, minimizing the need for seam elimination on divided parts.
Additionally, the numerous fasteners (recessed slits resembling flathead screws) on the upper side of the wings are precisely recreated through engraving, achieving a high level of both assembly ease and precision.
