About the Aircraft:
- The L-1011 Tristar is a wide-body jet passenger aircraft developed by America's Lockheed. Its first flight was in November 1970, and it began operations in 1972.
- It is equipped with three Rolls-Royce RB211-22 engines, achieving a cruising speed of approximately 954 km/h. The aircraft introduced the latest technologies of its time, including the Instrument Landing System (ILS) compatible with Category III A.
- The first aircraft was delivered to Eastern Airlines in April 1972, and after entering service, it was operated by airlines around the world. A total of approximately 250 units were produced.
- In Japan, it was operated by ANA (All Nippon Airways), allowing the aircraft to be seen in the country.
