The Magic Track enhances the experience with this 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit, which recreates the IV B Model 10.5 cm self-propelled howitzer. This was a prototype developed by the German army during World War II. Approximately 10 units were prototyped, and the model captures this historical vehicle accurately.

About the Vehicle:

In 1941, the IV B Model 10.5 cm self-propelled howitzer was developed using the chassis of a Panzer IV tank. It featured an open-top turret equipped with a 10.5 cm leFH18 howitzer. The chassis of the Panzer IV was shortened, reducing the number of road wheels by two and the upper support wheels by one. The open-top turret was armed with a 28 caliber 10.5 cm light howitzer leFH18/1, capable of 35-degree rotation on each side. The vehicle was powered by a Maybach HL66P water-cooled inline six-cylinder gasoline engine. Although the prototype vehicle was completed in 1942, it did not go into mass production and remained only a prototype.

This 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit accurately recreates the IV B Model 10.5 cm self-propelled howitzer developed by the German army during World War II. The suspension, sprocket wheels, idler wheels, and six pairs of road wheels on each side are all faithfully recreated. The model uses assembly-type Magic Track for realistic tracks, enhancing the three-dimensional finish. The upper hull is precisely detailed with features like the engine deck grille and open-close selectable driver's hatch for increased realism. The open-top turret allows detailed expression of the inside armor plates. Photo-etched parts add sharp detail to the final model, which prominently features a delicately modeled 10.5 cm howitzer. The mechanical structure from the gun barrel to the base is attractively rendered, providing a detailed and satisfying model-building experience.
